DESCRIPTION:A suicide occurs every 15 minutes…Every 16 minutes a loved one is left behind to deal with the loss.\nNovember 19th is National Survivors of Suicide Loss recognition day.\n  \nThe Mental Health Association In Fayette County Advocacy Network\, Fayette County Suicide Prevention Task Force in conjunction with the local Suicide Survivor Bereavement and Support Group will gather inside the Uniontown Mall (by Dunhams) at 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM to recognize those lives lost and those survivors that remain to cope with their loss.  If you have been personally affected by a loss\, please join us to help raise awareness and learn about prevention and educational services available to prevent future suicides. \n

School attendance policies and truancy guidelines\, within each school district in Fayette County\, will be discussed. Literature will be available on the program\, along with additional contacts and programs offered by the Crime Victim’s Center. Parents\, teachers\, paraprofessionals\, and community members are all cordially invited to attend.
