DESCRIPTION:Partners is a community support program to help improve services\, systems of care\, and supports for those being treated for substance use and mental health issues. Meetings are open to anyone with an interest in mental health issues and advancing the quality of life for members and people with mental illness. \nSome points about PARTNERS FOR RECOVERY: \n\nAt Partners for Recovery Meetings\, you can have fellowship with others in a place where everyone can share their stories and experiences in recovery.\nAs a member of this group\, you can have a voice in how money for mental health services is spent and how services can serve people better.\nYou can help the group make a difference in the community and alleviate the stigma of mental illness in society.\nWe welcome visitors who would like to take part in meetings and help us see more clearly what is working and what is not working in the local Mental Health Community.\n\nWe believe that “By promoting the principles of recovery and making relationships in the community\, the Fayette County Partners for Recovery is educating and providing public awareness of mental health”. \nPartners for Recovery meet the fourth Monday of every month from 10:30 AM until around noon. Meetings are held at MHA Fayette located at the Fayette County Health Center at 100 New Salem Road in Uniontown\, Pennsylvania. This is conveniently located right along the FACT bus line. \nFor More Information about our Group\, please call (724) 438-6738 and ask for the PARTNERS facilitator. \n\nUPDATE: Due to the COVID-19 National Emergency\, we will be transitioning our meetings for the time being to ZOOM.
